ALBUQUERQUE CHAPTER, MOAA, ANNUAL MEMORIAL SERVICEÂ – Please join us!!
Albuquerque Chapter, MOAA’s Annual Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the RIO RANCHO’S VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK, 950 PINETREE RD SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124  (west of HWY 528, turn north off Southern), instead of the NM Veterans Memorial. The Memorial Service and remembrance of our deceased comrades and members will be from 1000 to 1130 hours with Social to follow.
The Memorial Service and honoring program is being supported by the Albuquerque Chapter MOAA members, the NM Army National Guard State Support Chaplain as the guest speaker, Buglers Across America, the Valencia High School JROTC Color Guard, and The Enchanters Chorus from Albuquerque.
We invite all MOAA members and friends to join us in a final farewell to our members who served in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations, provided public medical care, and recognize the contributions of all families who have served our nation, and in this ceremony symbolize that their duty as a Soldier/Airmen/Sailor/Marine/Physician/Spouse is now over.
If you can assist us organizing the Memorial event, we need several more volunteers to help set-up for the Service and take down chairs and tables after the service, greet members and pass out programs, assist the chorus in setting up and taking down their accompaniment speakers and provide assistance in refreshment service following the Service.
