First Annual New Mexico MOAA State Convention

It is with great pleasure that the Albuquerque Chapter of MOAA announces that it will host the First Annual New Mexico State MOAA Convention. The event is scheduled for 27-28 April 2018 at the Albuquerque Uptown Marriott Hotel (2101 Louisiana Blvd, NE Albuquerque). The convention will commence on Friday evening at 6:00pm with a no host cocktail party (cash bar). The following morning, at 10:00am, we will host a continental breakfast featuring a guest speaker from the New Mexico National Guard. The Council of Chapters will meet in the afternoon beginning at 2:00pm. For those not involved with the Council of Chapters, Albuquerque MOAA members will be available to provide information on Albuquerque points of interest. The convention will conclude that evening, at 7:00pm, with dinner and a presentation by our guest of honor, Lieutenant General Dana Atkins, USAF (Ret) President and CEO of MOAA.

The Convention is open to all MOAA members residing in New Mexico, regardless of chapter affiliation. Attendance is limited to 98 persons. New Mexico chapter members have priority for registration through 07 February. Following that date, MOAA members not affiliated with New Mexico Chapters may register. Registration will be confirmed upon receipt of completed registration form and payment (checks only) by CDR M.J. Cochrane (11823 Red Mile Rd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87123-4280), convention coordinator.
