    MOAA BREAKFAST CLUB
    Where: Weck’s Restaurant at 3913 Louisiana NE – Just south of Montgomery
    When:  The 4th TUESDAY of each month
    Time: 0700-0830 Hours
    Menu: Your choice and come hungry – large portions!
    Cost: Pay for your own breakfast after program is over.
    Separate checks are provided – please add a tip.  Senior discount available.
    Please arrive by 0700 to order and receive your meal before the speaker has begun. 

    We want to thank Dave Coulie for his discussion about MOAA’s efforts in the New Mexico Legislature and about the New Mexico 100 Club. That club raises funds to provide cash assistance to the families of fallen sworn law enforcement officers and firefighters who gave their life in the line of duty within 48 hours of their passing.     February 28: Our speaker for our February breakfast meeting at 0700 at Weck’s on Louisiana will be Geoff Stone. Geoff is a retired Army Airborne Ranger who became an Albuquerque Police Officer, and later a Homicide Detective, who was the lead investigator for the Boyd shooting several years ago. Geoff, now retired from the Police Department, in addition to being a private investigator, is an instructor with a contractor with the Defense Nuclear Threat Reduction Agency where he is working part time, multiple times a year, as an instructor for the Kazakhstan military for protection of Kazakhstan’s nuclear facilities approximately 60 miles from the Russian border. Geoff will discuss his mission in Kazakhstan and that of his employer. Please join us.
